Sudhangshu Shekhar Biswal

Joyous Homes takes pride in having Sudhangshu as a cornerstone of its leadership team. Graduating in Commerce from Utkal University, Odisha, in 1990, Sudhangshu is a distinguished Chartered Accountant (CA) and Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) with a remarkable professional journey.
Boasting over 25 years of cross-functional expertise in project executions, corporate strategy, fund planning, treasury, accounts, taxation, MIS, and budgeting, Sudhangshu brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization. His extensive experience spans various industry verticals, including consulting, software, aviation, education, infrastructure, and real estate, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of diverse business landscapes.
As a Director in the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a national apex chamber, Sudhangshu plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the organisation. His membership in the Managing Committee and position as a Board Member underscore his commitment to contributing at the highest levels, showcasing his dedication to the growth and success of the chamber.
Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Start-Up Development at Odisha Corporate Foundation (OCF) on a freelance basis, Sudhangshu continues to contribute his expertise in a hybrid work environment. His leadership style is characterized by strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and adept management at all levels. His problem-solving and creative skills, combined with sound judgment based on accurate and timely analyses, make him an invaluable asset to any organization.
Sudhangshu’s tenure as an Executive Director at Omaxe Limited, a leading developer in India, spanned over 11 years. In this role, he played a pivotal part in corporate strategy, fund-raising, and oversaw various functions such as project management and execution, corporate treasury, corporate accounts, MIS, direct and indirect taxation, and secretarial responsibilities. His ability to raise over $1.5 billion in funds through innovative structures highlights his exceptional financial acumen.
During his time as Vice President-Finance at Zoom Infra-Estates Private Limited, Sudhangshu was instrumental in successfully bidding for projects worth $2.5 billion in the infrastructure and real estate sector.
His accomplishments extend to his role as Group Financial Controller at IMT Group, where he significantly contributed to the business’s fivefold growth, opened new campuses, and facilitated successful divestments. Sudhangshu’s responsibilities included building a new IMT Campus in Nagpur in record time and establishing an ITES Centre in IMT, Ghaziabad Campus.
With a diverse history that includes co-founding a consulting firm, Bal Biswal Chakra (BBC), and managerial roles in audit and taxation, Sudhangshu’s multifaceted experience positions him as an influential promoter for Joyous Homes. Pragnya Routray
Director
Pragnya Routray is an esteemed advocate with over two decades of prolific experience in the legal domain. She excels in strategizing and formulating legal frameworks, proficient in the drafting, vetting, and scrutinization of legal documents, and has a commanding presence in litigation across esteemed judicial forums including the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, Central Administrative Tribunals, and various District Courts. Her legal acumen extends across a vast spectrum of civil law, with a profound understanding and significant exposure to constitutional writ petitions involving diverse matters such as service law, labor law, land acquisition, electricity regulation, educational law, telecommunication law, tender disputes, municipal governance, and cases pertaining to the doctrine of ultra vires.
Advocate Routray is skilled in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, adeptly employing mediation, conciliation, and arbitration for the amicable resolution of disputes, thereby serving the best interests of her clientele. She also possesses specialized knowledge in the realms of intellectual property rights and matrimonial laws under the Indian Marriage Act.
Academically, she is an alumnus of Lingaraj Law College, having pursued her LL.B. in 1999, post her B.Sc. in Physics from Berhampur University in 1995. Her legal journey is further augmented by her active participation in various legal fraternities. She has been an esteemed member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association since 2000 and has rendered her legal expertise as a panel lawyer for distinguished entities such as MMTC Limited and Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. Additionally, she has contributed significantly as a member of the sexual harassment committee at Miranda House College, New Delhi.
Her career is adorned with various accolades and scholarships, underscoring her scholastic merit and prowess in moot court competitions at the national level. She has also been a prolific contributor to the legal discourse, presenting insightful papers on pressing legal issues like child labor and human trafficking laws.
In her professional capacity, Ms. Routray’s expertise encompasses the drafting and meticulous vetting of legal contracts and agreements, managing litigation across various business domains, preparing comprehensive briefs for arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, ensuring adherence to statutory compliances, and handling a diverse array of legal issues including, but not limited to, commercial disputes, specific performance suits, property law cases, and matters concerning labor and employment laws. Her legal proficiency extends to procedural aspects such as filing affidavits, drafting and issuing legal notices, and instituting suits particularly in the realm of property law. Her role demands vigorous representation and argumentation in various legal forums, robustly defending cases, and ensuring the diligent legal representation of her clients in multifarious judicial settings.
Surjit Singh
Director
Mr. Surjit Singh serves as the Director of Joyous Homes, bringing over 17 years of extensive experience in the field of Law.
Mr. Singh graduated in Arts from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, in 2002 and subsequently completed his LLB degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, in 2006.
A member of the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana since 2006, Mr. Singh has been a practicing Advocate before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, High Court of Punjab & Haryana, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), and various District Courts and other forums in NCT Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh for the last 17 years.
As a qualified lawyer, Mr. Singh has accumulated over 17 years of experience in Civil and Revenue litigation, Legal Documentation, Drafting and vetting, and pleading before various courts and tribunals. He is adept at drafting, vetting, and preparing agreements, providing expert opinions on various issues, including title search reports and due diligence reports related to land matters under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), 2016.
Mr. Singh’s expertise extends to Title Search & Due-Diligence Reports for both agricultural and non-agricultural plots, residential and commercial properties. He is involved in inspections of sites and records with Patwari/Sub-Registrar(s)/Municipality(s)/Panchayat/Tehsildar. His experience also includes handling agreements and compliances under labour legislations, litigations, and property transactions such as sale agreements, lease agreements, deeds, and documents for all immovable properties.
He has served as a Retainer with Ansal Properties Limited, Alchemist Realty Limited, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), and reputed Delhi-based law firm H.K.J. & Associates. Mr. Singh’s expertise is recognized by being on the panel of many reputed real estate developers such as Unitech Ltd., DLF Group, Eldeco Infrastructure, Ashiana Homes, and others, including Religare Group, Bharti Group, for Corporate and Real Estate litigations.

Operation Head
Priya Sudan serves as the Operation Head at Joyous Homes, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s operations for seamless functionality. Possessing a Master’s Degree in Commerce, Priya brings over 15 years of extensive experience, primarily in the real estate sector. Her expertise spans across various domains, including administration, office management, team management, business operations, purchase and project management, planning and implementation, as well as marketing and business development.
In her current role, Priya holds a key position in managing both strategic and administrative aspects of the company. Her responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the organization. Priya is dedicated to fostering relationships and ensuring the smooth functioning of all company affairs.
Before her current role, Priya gained valuable experience at M2K, where she worked for a duration of 2 years from 2009 to 2011. Following this, she joined Omaxe in September 2011, contributing to her wealth of experience in the real estate industry.

During his tenure at Metro Buildtech Ltd, Ashish Kumar Tiwari successfully completed numerous projects, showcasing his expertise in handling complex and prestigious ventures. Some notable projects under his leadership include Greater Kailash Part-1 & 2, South Extension, Defence Colony, Saket, Panch Sheel Park, and CR Park. His contribution to these projects demonstrates his proficiency in overseeing diverse aspects of real estate development.
